What does a home inspection include?
A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property designed to identify defects within specific systems and components that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector. Areas that are inspected include the following: roof, exterior, basement, foundation, heating system, cooling system, plumbing, electrical, fireplace, attic, and interior.
Do I need to be home for the inspection?
It’s up to you but not required at all. We enjoy talking you through the process and explaining our findings. If circumstances do not permit your attendance, our written report is effective in communicating the findings.
How long does an inspection take?
The average home inspection takes approximately 2.5-3 hours. We stay as long as it takes to get the job completed & accurate.
Should I have a sewer scope done?
Imagine Inspections Regina believes that all homes should have the sewer scope carried out when purchasing.
It provides a visual aid to the area of the property that cannot be seen and provides peace of mind knowing that things are OK!
What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, cheque & e-transfer. Payment must be received before report completed.
